Primitive by today's standards, the technical
specs of an Atari 2600 were: A 6507 CPU running at 1.19 Mhz
(capable of processing a few thousand instructions per second;
a Pentium at 100 Mhz computes about 100 million instructions
per second), 128 bytes of RAM (the average computer today has
33,554,432 bytes or 32MB of RAM), a 6Kb ROM, and only about
50% of its CPU computational power was available.
